The Fairbury Rotary Club recently named the Outstanding Students of the Month.
Ian Pick and Dakota Taylor were presented certificates for their efforts. Pick’s nominating teacher was Mrs. McCullough at Prairie Central High School. He is the son of Nicholas and Chastity and is described as an “outstanding nominee” due to his passion for art, work ethic and character. Pick has been exploring digital media and film making and often participates in class discussions, asking challenging questions.
Taylor was nominated by Mrs. Watson and is the son of Jason and Bethany Martin. The nomination said Taylor works hard in class and is willing to help classmates and actively participate. He also is described as having a great attitude in class.
Both students will be invited to the Rotary Luncheon in May for the honors.
