It may have rained late Saturday morning in downtown Fairbury, but that didn't stop area residents from visiting "A Local Taste" organized by the Fairbury Area Chamber of Commerce.
The annual event featured food items from numerous vendors near Sunken Park on the east end of the business district. Live music was performed on the stage in the big tent and Dale Maley was awarded the Citizen of the Year honor.
The event also included a dunk tank and activities.
