Petersen Chevrolet of Fairbury recently presented a $1,000 check to the Boys and Girls Club of Livingston County through the Chevy Youth Baseball and Softball effort.
Funds are used for team needs, such as baseballs, buckets, screens, backstops and everyday sports items.
“It helps cut our costs down significantly,” said the Boys and Girls Club’s Kam Sallee.
Chevy donates $25 each time an individual test drives a Bolt. Anyone interested in taking a test drive must contact Petersen’s to enjoy some time behind the wheel of the electric-powered vehicle.
