Oct. drive collects 39 units

Fairbury’s October 22 blood drive, held at the First United Methodist Church, collected 39 units.
Donors reaching milestones were Joyce Gulliford, one gallon; Loren Steidinger, 10 gallons; and Lynn Barnett, 14 gallons.
Others donating were Jeff Ifft, Gerry Groskreutz, Kyle Buchanan, Ann Francis, Robert Francis, Steve Hall, Gregg Honegger, Brenda Bachtold, Matt Brauman, Sharon McCoy, Jeff Lackaff, Cheryl Palen, John Krueger, Heidi Bachman, Mark Hall, David Langel, Martha Fehr, Carol Melton and Nate Kelson.
Also donating were Betty Dray, Edward Palen, Darren Koehl, Greg Hish, Kathryn Haab, Megan Mathes, Rollin Wenger, William Endres, Tess Popejoy, Dustin Popejoy, Kinzey Bachtold, Beth Weeks, Philip Leman, Randall Stoller, David Hammer, Paul Harms and Jennifer Whitfill.
Donors came from Forrest, Chatsworth, Fairbury, Chenoa, Lexington, Cullom and Cropsey.
The McDowell Church ladies furnished a Dave’s gift card to provide food for the donors and workers. Cookies were donated by Brittany Kuntz, Dora Immke, Darna Lee Dearth, Jan
Swartz, Deanna Pflager, Gina Maede, Sarah Elliott, Jeanne Elliott and Jone Meister.
Volunteers working at the blood drive were Deb Moran, Kathy Fehr, Linda Zick, Barb Taylor, Kathy Cook, Beverly Forneris, Jeanie Searby, Darna Lee Dearth, Mark Hall, Katie Cavanagh, Jeanne Elliott, Teresa Palen, Deanna Pflager, Ida Ziller, Katie Ziller, Denis Greear and Mary Zimmerman.
