Kurt D. Rieger, 58, Bloomington, died at 11:53 pm Thursday, February26, 2026 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

A private graveside service will be held at Forrest Twp. Cemetery at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Kurt Rieger family through the Venmo QR Code below.

Kurt was born August 1, 1967, in Kankakee, IL. The son of Keith David and Beverly A. Shive Rieger. He married Cindy Coyer on May 10, 1997, in Bloomington, IL.

Survivors include wife, Cindy Rieger, one daughter, Jamie Rieger, and one son, Joshua Rieger.

He is preceded in death by his parents and only sibling, brother, Paige.

Kurt was a loving husband and father who was a loyal and kind friend to many.
