Nina K. Hoselton, 62, of Fairbury, passed away peacefully at 12:17 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

Born on October 4, 1962, in Fairbury, Nina was the daughter of James and Carolyn Robbins Alverson. She married the love of her life, Charles L. Hoselton Sr., on December 1, 1980, in Chenoa. He preceded her in death on July 15, 2024.

Nina is survived by her three sons, Charles (Jessica Mackey) Hoselton Jr., James (Hayley Vedder) Hoselton, and Joshua (Tamira) Hoselton, all of Fairbury; five beloved grandchildren, Anthony Thompson, Ayden Mackey, Zion Hoselton, Maren Hoselton, and Indie Hoselton; three sisters, Kathy Dixon of Pontiac, Dawn Alverson of Chenoa, and Colleen Hodge of Sevierville, TN; and one brother, Michael Alverson of Chenoa.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Alverson, and two sisters, Tracy Reed and Lynn Johnson.

A dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant throughout her career, Nina provided compassionate care in nursing homes, home healthcare, and hospice services. She was a proud member of Livingston Lodge #290 and spent many joyful weekends at the Fairbury Speedway. Above all, Nina loved and cherished her family deeply, and her greatest joy was spoiling her grandchildren.

A celebration of Nina’s life will be held at a later date, with burial in Chenoa Township Cemetery. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Fairbury is assisting with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to SELCAS or the Fairbury Fire Department in her honor.
