Obituary: Hodges

Terry Duane Hodges, 60, of Fairbury, passed away on Friday, January 23rd, 2026, at Accolade Healthcare of Pontiac. 

Cremation rites have been accorded. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, is in charge of arrangements.

Terry was born on September 13th, 1965, in Fairbury, the son of Denton and Helen (Hines) Hodges. He graduated from Fairbury-Cropsey High School before starting a long career at Selig Sealing as a lab tech.

Terry is survived by his mother, Helen Hodges, of Fairbury, and three siblings: Rodney (Terri) Hodges, Forrest; Pam Stork, Forrest; and John Hodges, Fairbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Terry is preceded in death by his father and sister, Penny Hodges. 

Memorial donations can be made in Terry’s name to South East Livingston County Ambulance Service (SELCAS).

Terry loved NASCAR and was a big fan of Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt. He also enjoyed watching dirt track racing at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway and the Eldora World 100.
