Dustin Jay Davis, 46, of Tonica, died of natural causes at 12:10 pm, September 10, 2025, at his home.
His funeral will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Fairbury Baptist Church. Andy Huette will be officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-5:00pm, Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9-9:45 am, on Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or SELCAS.
Dustin was born July 14, 1979, in Pekin the son of Jay and Kay Huette Davis. They survive.
Also surviving are his brother, Devin (Lara) Davis of Bloomington; niece and nephew, Abigail and Zachary Davis of Bloomington; many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friends, Chad Maurer of Forrest, Christina Weibel and Lela and Richard Fenton all of Tonica.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Velda Huette and Darrell and Royalene Davis.
Dustin graduated from Prairie Central High School and Lincoln College. He worked in the accounting field for many years.
Dustin loved reading and discussing politics. He was working on writing a Science Fiction book.
Dustin was a big man with a heart to match. He loved us all but we could tell he had a special love for his niece and nephew. He was a man with a huge sense of humor. All of us who were close to him were blessed for those 46 years. He will be truly missed.
