Pamela Sue Cullins, 74, Fairbury, died at 5:15 am Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Accolade Healthcare of Pontiac.


Her graveside service will be held in the spring (date TBA) at Evergreen Cemetery,

Chebanse. Cremation rites have been accorded by Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. The family suggests memorials be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or SELCAS.

Ms. Cullins was born April 10, 1951 in Kankakee, IL the daughter of John and Mary Louise Bellee Johnson.


Survivors include two daughters, Traci (Brian) Hassett, Fairbury, Ashley (Ross) Martin, Chicago, five grandchildren, Abby Hassett, Anna (Cooper) Tonachel, Nik Hassett, Donovan, and Conor, two great-grandchildren, Malcom and Winston Schweizer and one brother, John (Pandy) Johnson, Bourbonnais. Plus, many special nieces, nephews, & cousins.


She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Jan Wall and one brother, Carl Johnson and one granddaughter, Rebecca Hassett.


She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bradley, IL


A lifelong learner with a diverse professional background, Ms. Cullins most recently studied psychology at Governors State University. Her career spanned from her early days as an LPN to her ten-year tenure managing the thrift store Frugality NFP in Fairbury, from which she retired in 2017. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


Her hobbies included bowling (in the 1970’s and 80’s), sewing, crocheting, and crafting.
