Betsy Ann Cox, 84, Fairbury, died at 12:40 am Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 pm Monday, May 24, 2021 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Private burial will take place in Avoca Twp. Cemetery, Fairbury. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to the Boys and Girls Club of Prairie Central, 708 N. 1st. St., Fairbury, IL 61739.
Mrs. Cox was born September 6, 1936 in Barron County, KY, the daughter of Elbert and Lillie Steenbergen Todd. She married Robert E. Cox on July 20, 1957 in Fairbury, IL. He died on January 2, 2000.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra Kennedy, Lexington, SC; Diana (Stephen) Flint, Lombard; Donna (Terrance) Brasky, Chicago; one son, William Cox, Fairbury; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; three brothers, Lynn (Rosemary) Todd and Richard (Marilyn) Todd, both of Pontiac and William Todd, Fairbury.
She is preceded in death by two brothers and one son, Robert A. Cox.
Mrs. Cox was a homemaker and formerly had worked as a seamstress at Fairbury Garment for 19 years.
