Roger Duane White, 81, of Fairbury, passed away at 6:45pm, February 4, 2020, at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa.
Cremation will be accorded following the donation of his body to the Anatomical Gift Association. A graveside service will take place at a later date in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cemetery, Anchor.
Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.

Roger was born July 12, 1938, in Towanda Township, the son of William and Leona Smith White. He married Doris Beecher on January 16, 1960, in Forrest. She passed away on June 15, 2011.
Surviving are his three daughters, Suzzanne Hughes of GA, Cindy (Kevin) Starr of Watseka, and Rita (Tom) Rathbun of Fairbury; one son, Bruce (Claire) White of O’Fallon; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Roger was the plant manager at Fairbury Ready-Mix and was a retired Teamster.
Roger was an avid Cardinal baseball fan!
Louise Hallock:
Louise Marie Hallock, 91, a former resident of Fairbury, Illinois, died January 21 at Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, Colorado.
She was the daughter of Rev. Virgil Grant and Christina Winkleman Grant of North Baltimore, Ohio. She is survived by her son Dean (Becky) Leffingwell, Louisville, CO; four granddaughters, Jennifer Byrd, Marcy Willard, Emily Ashley, Tracy Leffingwell, and six great-grandchildren. Her husband Elmer Hallock and two sons preceded her in death, as did three brothers, one half brother and two half sisters.
She attended high school in North Baltimore, Ohio and graduated from Flamingo Beauty Culture School. She owned and operated her own beauty business for twenty-four years.
She enjoyed crafts, gardening, flower-arranging and crocheting. She was an avid painter and continued painting throughout her life. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Fairbury and was an honorary member of Fairbury Garden Club. In 2012, she moved to Louisville, CO to be closer to her family.
A memorial service will be held Memorial Day weekend at Graceland Cemetery in Fairbury. She asked that any memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Fairbury Youth Programs or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
