Dominy Memorial Library has announced several upcoming events.
A Christmas tradition continues this Saturday (Dec. 3) as the library welcomes the Prairie Central Madrigal singers at 1 p.m. Everyone is invited to enjoy cookies and warm drinks as the group performs holiday favorites at 201 South Third Street in Fairbury.
Then on Dec. 5-20, an elf will be hiding in the children’s section of the library Monday through Friday. Find the “Elf on the Shelf” and win with the 12 days of Christmas prizes contest. This event is open to children only with one winner per day and children may only win once.
The library will be closed for Christmas Dec. 23-24 and back open Monday, Dec. 26.
