As blue lights continue to shine brightly throughout the area, the community remembers two young men we lost a year ago.

Trees were planted last week near the east side of the Prairie Central High School football field to honor the memories of Dylan Bazzell and Drew Fehr. A fitting tribute as the two spent time on both the football field and inside on the basketball court.

Memorial plaques and ribbons are expected to be added to the trees.

The legacy of these PC student-athletes continues as they left their mark on the school, community and beyond.

Prayers continue for both the Fehr and Bazzell families today and always.
