Harvest of Sharing underway

The annual Fairview Haven “Harvest of Sharing” fundraiser is underway with a silent auction this week.

Online bidding started Monday and continues through Friday evening (Nov. 5) at 8 p.m. Items include special meals, short trips, adventures, dining out options, toys, books, games, CDs, lawn and garden supplies and handcrafted items. A complete listing of items with photos is available at www.harvestofsharing.org. In-person viewing is taking place in the maintenance shed through 8 p.m. Thursday.

Fairview Haven’s benefit supper is Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and will be drive-thru for the pre-ordered meals. Carryouts or for those who did not pre-order however they hope to keep carryouts to a minimum. Those who pre-ordered will be served from the East Haven Condo north garages.

If you were unable to pre-order, let the directors on Fourth Street know. Follow the green arrows and park in the south church parking lot. You will then be able to walk to the maintenance shed to pick up meals.
