This weekend looks to be a fun and busy one in Fairbury.
Not only are the Prairie Central Hawks playing in a home playoff matchup Saturday afternoon against Chicago King, but there are Halloween festivities in town.
A Halloween party for kids is planned for Saturday (Oct. 30) at Dominy Memorial Library from 10 to 11 a.m. Kids should attend the party in their costume but are not required to. Activities include story time, photo booth, crafts, treats and a parade to Dave’s Supermarket. To register, call the library at 815-692-3231.
Fairbury’s trick-or-treat hours on Sunday are 4 to 8 p.m.
