Those looking for decorations or flowers for special events have a new destination to check out in downtown Fairbury.
Old Oaks Vintage Rentals and Floral Designs is owned and operated by Becky Freed and family at 226 West Locust Street, Suite 2. Freed took over the vintage rental side of the business from Cheryl Elzy who started Old Oaks Vintage Rentals in Lexington several years ago.
“I decided, with the help of my friends and family, to go ahead and purchase the business and combine it with wedding flowers to provide a full service,” Freed said.
The business specializes in rustic elegance and vintage glam but also features classic gold and silver pieces to fit all types of needs – from dinner parties to weddings.
“I encourage people to come out, take a look and see what we have,” added Freed.
An open house was held back in March for the new business, allowing visitors to browse the showroom while enjoying snacks and fellowship.
