The Livingston County Health Department released a vaccination update this week which includes clinics in various towns.
Johnson and Johnson’s vaccine is being administered today (Thursday) and Friday at the First Baptist Church in Fairbury and the clinic is open to any Illinois resident 18 or over. This is being hosted in partnership with the Illinois National Guard.
Other clinics include the Moderna vaccine most Tuesdays and Thursdays at First Baptist Church in Pontiac (any Illinois resident age 18+), the Pfizer vaccine April 14 at First Baptist Church in Pontiac (age 16+ for Livingston and neighboring counties) and a Saturday appointment availability April 17 for the Moderna vaccine at Woodland School in Streator (Livingston or neighboring county residents age 18+)
“The sooner we can reach herd immunity, the better it is for everyone,” said LCHD administrator Jackie Dever. “Our team is proud to continue to do our part to help end the pandemic, and appreciative for all of our volunteers and community partners who support us in this fight.”
