Several local residents were arrested for possession and delivery of suspected heroin.
Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress reports an ongoing narcotics investigation led to the arrests made by the Pontiac Drug Unit and Livingston County Proactive Unit this week. All of the subjects were taken to the Livingston County Jail awaiting charges and bond.
Sheriff Childress said a traffic stop and search of #6 Sandy Creek Trailer Court in Pontiac led to the arrest of Felicia Bustle of Pontiac for unlawful delivery of controlled substances. Also, Darien Zeller of Pontiac, Timothy Legner of Pontiac and Steven Carls of Fairbury were arrested for possession of controlled substances.
Those handling the case include Pontiac Police patrol units, Livingston County State’s Attorney’s Office and Sheriff’s Department detectives.
