Bee program planned

The Friends of the Dominy Library present Bees, Beekeeping, and Pollination on Saturday, January 12th at 2pm in the White Community Room of the Dominy Memorial Library in Fairbury.

Bees, Beekeeping, and Pollination features guest speaker Cindy Kinate of Fairbury Healthy Harvest Farms. Cindy is also a member of the Central Illinois Beekeepers Association, and a University of Illinois Master Gardener.

From Beeswax, to sticky sweet honey, learn the benefits of bees in the environment and what you can do to help these little fuzzy, yellow and black, buzzing pollinators thrive in Central Illinois.

This is a free event and fun for all ages. Refreshments will be served and you could win a “sweet” door prize. Bees, Beekeeping, and Pollination at the Dominy Memorial Library - 201 S. 3rd Street, Fairbury.
