More than 800 people enjoyed a breakfast on the farm Saturday morning at Kilgus Farmstead near Fairbury.

Livingston County Farm Bureau Manager Chris Bunting reports a total of 810. Saturday's event from the Livingston County Farm Bureau Young Leader group included biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, milk, coffee and orange juice all for a donation of a dollar per person. The proceeds went to county food pantries.

"The dollar represents the approximate amount of money the farmer makes for growing or raising the ingredients," said Kaity Carroll, LCFBYL chair.

Those attending also enjoyed ag displays, farm tours and family activities all at no cost.
